PROGRAMME INTRODUCTION
Manual Software Testing is a Quality Assurance method. Testers manually execute tests to find out the loopholes and bugs in the software. In recent years, Hong Kong government has made substantial investments to establish Hong Kong as a thriving international IT center. IT talent, including Manual Quality Assurance Tester is, thus, highly in demand. The programme content is designed in collaboration with employers and professional partners, enabling students to acquire knowledge, skills, and train their testing skills in a short period of time. At the same time, the course also aims to improve students’ behavioral skills and mindset, such as communication skills, problem-solving ability, interview skills, and building up their self-confidence. REQUIREMENTS
- School-leavers and unemployed aged 18-29 with special educational needs (SEN)
- Keen to start a full-time job immediately after completion of the training
- Have basic self-care abilities
- Basic computer and Windows system operation knowledge
- Subject to getting a job offer, and will not take other full-time courses in the next 12 months
- Legally permitted to work in Hong Kong
- Passed the online test and interview
